If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Hi there. I am not able to get the slider shortcode to work in the template builder. Is there something that I need to do differently to make it show up? I am building it using the magic wand – then copy and pasting into the text section in the template builder but nothing is showing up – or it is looking really strange.
You can see the issue here. http://wewantpeace2012.org/quotes/
This is the code that isn’t generating the content slideshow.
[slide title=”D.M.C.”]We want peace and we gonna get it![/slide]
[slide title=”Alicia Keys”]This brother is so incredible.[/slide]
[slide title=”George Clooney”]This campaign has my full support[/slide]
[slide title=”Peter Gabriel”]The new generation’s Bob Marley[/slide]
I tried to build a something on the template builder with the text section then drop the shortcode that you have and the code works just fine. :)
Is there a place where I can send you a secure log-in? So you can see my admin? It’s definitely not working….
I tested this out as well and didn’t have any issues. Can you make sure you turn off any plugins you might have running and test it again. Also make sure you are running the latest version of the theme as a secondary step.
If you continue to have the same issue, you can send your login information to me at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Please include a link to this thread so my spam filter doesn’t hide the email from me :)
Thanks. I have sent you an email. I have no plugins installed and everything seems up to date
If you deactivate WP-prettyPhoto the shortcodes will work again. There seems to be a conflict with that plugin and the themes functionality. You can always view your currently active plugins by going to Plugins then hitting the Active link right above the dropdown.
