   Sorry...the topic was closed before I could post back (CORONA-set featured image)

   Nope:-( it didn't work afterall.
   As soon as I set a featured image, it is automatically inserted into a slideshow or small image depending upon the page layout.

   Is there some code I can remove from somewhere? I don't need the slide show.

   Hi Stewart,

   Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
   

   #top.single-post .slideshow_container {
   display: none;
   }
