    Hi,

I am getting the error “Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key.” after configuring my Google API Key into the Enfold Google Services settings page and pressing the “Check API Key” Button.

    – I followed the instructions to generate a Google API Key
    – I enabled Google Maps Javascript API
    – I tried to deactivate all plug-ins

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Steve

    Hi,

I replaced your API key with the one our teammates @Vinay generated and it worked. Please review your website :)

    Hi,

Thanks……your API worked, and strangely enough I generated a new one which also worked for me.

I’m getting the same issue. I followed the same steps as steventorok and still no luck. Can you check please?

    Hi Louella,

This is the error you’re getting
    https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#deleted-api-project-map-error

Please make sure you have no google maps code in your functions.php.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi,
I am also getting a deleted api Project map error. Can you define how to find google maps code in functions.php? And then what to do with it?
    Thanks

    #857501

    Hi,

You can check on the description in the link Victoria gave you:

Your API project may have been deleted from the Google API Console. Please check the project for which you generated the API key that's included in JavaScript API loader. You can create a new API project and get a new key on the Google API Console.

Try to generate a new api key and make sure that javascript api loader is enabled in that key, and use it instead of the old key you have.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    #857644

    Hi Nikko,
I did generate a new API key and made sure the Javascript API loader is enabled. If you mean the Javascript API that can be enabled in the Console Dashboard…?
I still geht the same problem though :(
I provided backend Login in the private section.

    Best regards,
    Katrin

    Hi Katrin,

Can you give that user admin right? We cannot see anything like that.

    Best regards,

    Hi Victoria,
I did get an email from you (https://imgur.com/a/IkfKc). Is this intended for Katrin or myself? Your email screenshot https://imgur.com/a/IkfKc

    Please advise.
