    I’m using the incarnation theme and we do live streaming every Sunday at 10am and I only want this event to use the countdown clock. I would all other events to be regular up coming events.Is this possible?

    Hi,

    Does the URL for the weekly event always remain the same?

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Kriesi uses the tribe_get_events function to pull in the upcoming events. Based on the documentation. http://tri.be/support/documentation/the-events-calendar-template-tags-general-functions/#functiontribe_get_events I guess that it’s possible to query entries from certain categories only. I’d create a (dedicated) category for the recurring event/live streaming (i.e. call it “streaming”) and then open up wp-contentthemesincarnationconfig-events-calendarconfig.php and replace following line:

    $defaults 	= array( 'posts_per_page' => 2, 'eventDisplay'=>'upcoming' );

    with:

    $defaults 	= array(
    'posts_per_page' => 2,
    'eventDisplay'=>'upcoming',
    'tax_query'=> array(
    array(
    'taxonomy' => 'tribe_events_cat',
    'field' => 'slug',
    'terms' => 'streaming'
    )
    )
    );

    If you want to use another category name replace “streaming” in the code above with your custom category name. The change may not take effect immediately because Kriesi caches the upcoming event information.
