    Hello

I would like to know how to create a page without any sidebars, or sidebar widgets. This way, I would like to be able to add my custom html, so there is also room for static content, instead of articles.

As far as I found, If I leave out any widgets, there is always the categories widget being added. If I add Text/html as a widget, and add nothing, the space to the right is reserved, and I still have no free space to the left.

Thanks for letting me know. The Theme i bought is newscast.

    Many thanks

    Mick.

    Hi Mick,

When you create your new page there should be a box to the right of the editor called Page Attributes. Try changing the Template dropdown to Full Width and see if that gets the result you are looking for.

    Hi Devin

Thank you for the fast reply.

I checked and that seems to work indeed this way.

I noticed it only works for “pages”, not for “posts”, right?

Or would there be an option to do this (maybe with an additional 3rd party plugin?)

    Thank you

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Yes, setting page templates is only available to pages and that attribute wouldn’t appear inside posts. I don’t think there’s another option to it.

    Regards,

    Ismael
