This may be a “beginner” type question, but I’ve searched the forum and spent a couple hours searching online for a solution to this. I like to create tables to place images in on some pages and posts. It just helps to line things up and is way better than using the built-in WordPress image handling, which leaves a lot to be desired.
But for the life of me I cannot seem to create a table that is transparent without borders. I’m assuming it’s a function of table layout in the stylesheet, but I’ve also searched and experimented with changing settings in the CSS file without any luck. I’ve even tried using HTML tags to accomplish this but without any luck.
Could you tell me if this is something that needs to be changed in the stylesheet or if I can accomplish this with simple HTML on the pages I need it.
Again, sorry for what must be a simple issue. I’ve built websites for several years now and can typically figure this sort of stuff out. Appreciate your help and your excellent support.

Never mind. I figured it out. I just used TinyMCE Advanced and changed the CSS styles for the table and made the background the same color as the content area (f8f8f8) and the border the same color too…or made it 0.
I must’ve been writing the code wrong doing it by hand. Looked the same but I was leaving a colon or quote or something out somewhere.
