    Hi all, first of all I’d like to congratulate you on a superb theme for wordpress, Now I’ve found most the things I need to do with this theme nice and editable, or found the relevant info on this very support site.

    But I’ve run into a problem I cant solve.

    Im trying to create 4 extra columns on the front page see link http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/2042/cleancut1.jpg

    What im looking to achieve Is another row of four like teh image shows, now these new 4 colums can be static once I’ve gave each column its own image and copy, they don’t need to be able to edited from wordpress after that. As long as I can input my data and image for each column while I’m building the page, and then make the read more button(blue button that appears under the snippet text).

    I have tried a few things nothing seems to work the closest I got it was opening the index.php and copying the top lines code and pasting it below the top column but all that does is clone the top four columns like for like :( i still cant edit them with a new image and snippet text.

    Please help I really cant work out how to do this :(.

    regards fred

    Hey,

    You need to insert this code in index.php

    <div class="one_fourth"><a class='preloading' href="files/content_pic1.jpg"><img src="files/content_pic_med1.jpg" alt="" /></a>
    <h3>Lorem ipsum</h3>
    <p>Sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labolore magna, consectetur adipisicing elit, sedr incididunt ut. <a href="single.html" class="more-link">Read more</a></p>
    </div>

    <div class="one_fourth"><a class='preloading' href="files/content_pic2.jpg"><img src="files/content_pic_med2.jpg" alt="" /></a>
    <h3>Lorem ipsum</h3>
    <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt. <a href="single.html" class="more-link">Read more</a></p>
    </div>

    <div class="one_fourth"><a class='preloading' href="files/content_pic3.jpg"><img src="files/content_pic_med3.jpg" alt="" /></a>
    <h3>Lorem ipsum</h3>
    <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt. <a href="single.html" class="more-link">Read more</a></p>
    </div>

    <div class="one_fourth last"><a class='preloading' href="files/content_pic4.jpg"><img src="files/content_pic_med4.jpg" alt="" /></a>
    <h3>Lorem ipsum</h3>
    <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consecteturo eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labolore magna. <a href="single.html" class="more-link">Read more</a></p>
    </div>

    <?php //query testimonials
