Is there a way to create a button and place it on top of an image (or anything else for that matter)?

I feel like this should be relatively simple, but I’m not able to just drag a button content element on to a media element. If not, that’s a huge bummer.

    Hey coryodell!

Could you provide us with a link to the site in question and maybe a screenshot highlighting what you are trying to do please?

    Regards,

Sorry, I’m at work right now and can’t access wordpress to get a screenshot, and the site isn’t live. Maybe I can explain it a little more clearly.

Basically I just want to put a call to action button over a full width image on my homepage. Later down the line I might want to put a video on the right half of the image as well.

Would I just choose the layer slider and then add an HTML element for the button?

    Hey!

I’m still not exactly sure what you mean, but you can use a color section and set a background image to it, then you can place a button inside of it. Please let us know if that works for you or not.

That works, but the options for choosing the location for the button are limited. It’d be nice to be able to drag it where I’d like it to go.

    Hi!

We can give you some custom CSS to tweak the position once you have the site live.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
