    Hi,

    When I created a child theme based upon the start-kit from Kriesi it seems that I had to do all my former customization.

    How can I add my child theme but without have to do everything once again?

    I thought that the child only added things not start from scratch.

    What I’m I doing wrong?

    file structure:
    enfold
    enfold-child -> style.css & functions.php (ootb files)

    Hi themrindy!

    Are you referring to the settings? You can import the parent theme settings in Dashboard > Enfold > Import/Export.

    Hi,

    Hmmm, I think so…I only would like to “start” the child theme with all current config/settings and start building child styles.

    So then I only import my parent settings to my child?

    Hi!

    Yes, activate the child theme and then import the parent theme settings.
