If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I want to create blog snippets on my front page, that is, show the first paragraph or so for each blog post with a “Read More” link to the permalink page. I noticed that you did that for the Sentence demo. Can you tell me how to do that? Thanks.
Try using the <!–more–> Tag inside your post. When using the visual editor you can either use the shortcut Alt+Shift+T or hit the button for it which is right next to the Unlink/Spellcheck.
I have my blog posts on my home page. I just want snippets of each to show there. But I’d like the posts in their entirety to show at the blog link. How can I do that?
In your WP Admin Dashboard, try to go to: Settings > Reading > For each article in a feed, show. Change this from full text to summary and Save Changes. Hope this helps. :)
I would like to do the same for my blog and have changed it in the settings from full text to summary but it does not work for me.
