    Hello,

I’m trying to set up Coalition in WordPress and am finding it very difficult to add pages to the menu. I know its a one page site, but how do I add sections to it? Also how do I edit the existing menu items to read Home, residential etc.

Sorry if I’m a little vague, but a video tutorial on setting this theme up would have been a life saver.

    Hi,

Create a test site then Import the dummy data. Check the One Page Template, see how it works.

Basically, One Page Portfolio is made up of two elements. First is the Page Section element, then the Page/Post Content. You can also add elements like Text/Area, HR etc. Page Section will automatically create a menu on the sidebar after the name you specify under “Link and Section Name”. “Section Link Behaviour”, can be set to Default or you can link it manually to another page. Create as many Page Section as you like. On Coalition > Theme Options > One Page Portfolio or Basic WordPress theme?, select “Run as One Page Portfolio”.

    Hi Ismael,

Many thanks for taking the time to help. I really appreciate it. I’m getting the hang of creating the pages by dragging and dropping.

However, I have two questions: How do I reduce the amount of white space between the different pages? How do I insert a footer after each page section so I can put name and contact details in?

Again, many thanks for your help.

    Regards,

    Jon.

    Hi Jon,

The spacing would have to be changed with css either for all elements or if its specific ones we would need to target those divs specifically. It depends on what exactly you want.

To add additional content after a section you just need to add a new element into the template builder after that ‘page’ content.
