Creating Multiple Blogs

   I would like to create multiple blog pages that pull only from one or two categories. I looked through your documentation and played around with the theme a little but couldnt figure it out. I know with your twicet theme (that I am replacing with this), you had me duplicate the blog page and change some code to pull only from one category. Is that what is needed here or is there an easier way from the theme options that I'm missing?

   If i need to duplicate the pages, what line of code would I have to change to pull only from a specific category?

   Hi Adam,

   If you duplicate the template_blog.php file, you need to make 2 edits to the file.

   1.) Change this:

   Template Name: Blog Overview

   to this:

   Template Name: Blog Overview 2

   2.) Edit the query string to the blog categories you'd like to display. You need to enter the category ID's (see here for how to find them - http://www.wprecipes.com/how-to-find-wordpress-category-id) separated by a comma. So change this:

   $query_string = "cat=".$negative_cats."&paged=$paged";

   to this:

   $query_string = "cat=1,2,3&paged=$paged";

   for category ID's 1, 2 and 3.
