    Sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m not a designer and just found a post to increase Menu font size in quick scripts. I never would have thought I’d be adding CSS scripts, but now I can see how useful they can be. My questions is whether the scripts will be specific for each theme, or if there is a list or compilation anywhere of common scripts? If they are specific to each theme, does a list exist for the Enfold theme?

    Thanks,

    Newbie

    Hi,

    They are theme specific but there are themes with almost the same css selectors. Please give us a list of elements or objects within the theme that you’re trying to change. You can also modify the theme on the Styling panel within the Theme Options. What is the theme you have right now?

    Regards,

    Ismael

    I have Enfold. I have experimented with the styling panel and once in a while I come across an instance where I’d like to change something on a single page or element, example:

    #1 Change Alternate Content Background for a Tabs element on a single page.

    I’m still experimenting and my website is far from complete, so, don’t have a list of all the items I’d like to change. I’m primarily trying to learn what I can do and where I might go to find information regarding CSS scripts.

    Thanks for your help, I will make a list of specific items in addition to #1 above, if I cannot figure them out on my own.

    Hi,

    If you want to change something on a specific page, you can use the Google Chrome Inspect Element. Look for the unique css body class.

    On the example above, the page’s unique selector is .page-id-2251. We can use it to change the element within that page.

    .page-id-2251 #header_main {
    border-bottom-width: 3px;
    border-bottom-style: dotted;
    background: red;
    }
