site is here: http://chic.evometrix.com - specific example I'm working on is the menu underneath the slider (but could be anywhere - and the #top .sliderheading class is still in the $applyCustomFontTo string but they don't seem to be converting either).
I've created the .font.cufon file.
I've added the font "Optima_400" to the array in options.php
I've set my css class to be cufon (not optima).
Nothing seems to be working, any thoughts? Thanks.

if you just want to use one cufon font you can follow the instructions here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/cufon - otherwise your solution is the only one I can think of.
