    My client would like custom bullets for the main area (general lists), sidebar (menu listing), footer (menu listing).

    Could you point me in the right direction please! I can make the image, but I don’t know where it goes or what coding i need to make it work.

    Love the theme btw.

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

    Can you give us a link to the site with the list?

    You should probably use the list-style property

    Thanks for the reply, the page is http://eastsideinvestigations.com.au/ but I have a coming soon page showing. I tried that code from w3schools and it’s changed the menu at the top as well. I don’t want it to do that. Any other suggestions? Where is the best place to put the code? Thanks

    Hi Bek,

    You can change the list styles for each section by targetting them with css. So for example for the lists in the footer you would add the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    .widget ul li {
    list-style-type: circle;
    list-style-position: inside;
    list-style-image:url('http://yoursite.com/sqpurple.gif');
    }

    see: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_list-style-image.asp

    Regards,

    Devin
