First let me say that it is a cool template. I am using it to sell scissors online. But I just want to have a simple mod over product images. I want to show custom banners over my images that is based on product tags. For example, I want to show a banner ‘New Arrival’ on this product just like when a product is on ‘Sale’. I tried overriding the templates by creating /woocommerce/template under your theme directory but to no avail. I am hoping you can point me on the right direction on how to do this properly. I would greatly appreciate it.
I’m not sure about this but you need to hire a freelance developer to modify the plugin for you. You can also consider this plugin: http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-price-labeller/4861512?WT.ac=category_item&WT.seg_1=category_item&WT.z_author=phillbrown
Sorry for the late response. Anway I was wondering if it is possible to use woocommerce conditional tags in this case. For example, if ‘is_product_tag()’ = show some images corresponding to each tags? Would that be possible?
Individual product pages don’t have php files to add something like that to alone. You would need to add a filter for each single product page that has the conditional in it to check if the product being displayed has the tag and if so output the banner wherever you wanted it output.
As Ismael said however its beyond the scope of what we could walk you through via support.
