    using broadscope and am having a hell of a time with the custom menus in the footer and side bar. it seems that the info is there ( you can see it as the page loads), but it seems that the background image used overlays the text. please see my site…

    i tried using the following custom css as described in another post, but to no avail.

    #top .sidebar .avia_mega ul ul li, #top .sidebar .avia_mega > li > ul li {

    background-color: transparent !important;

    your help is greatly appreciated.

    Try this

    #top .widget .avia_mega .current-menu-item {
    background-color: none;
    color: #333;

    thanks ismael, but that didn’t work.

    I am having a hell of time with the sidebar menus. i managed to remove the image from the custom menu, but have since added a sub-menu and am having the same issues. Also the blog menu is the same but black. (smacking forehead).

    help. please. thank you.

    never mind, i hacked the hell out of it :)

    thanks anyway.

    Glad you fixed it. :)
