    Hello!

    Is there a way to create a custom page between the header and footer.

    In other words I want the middle section of the page to be different of the other pages.

    I hope You understand.

    Thank You!

    Just make a copy of page.php and replace the first

    <?php

    with

    <?php

    /*
    Template Name: My template
    */

    Save this file in your theme directory (name it as you like) and go to your page editor. You’ll see that your custom template appears in the dropdown list “Templates” in the right sidebar.

    Hey!

    Are you talking about just the homepage? Every page?

    Best regards,

    Noah

    It doesn’t have to be homepage.

    It could be About page also.

    So I think i am talking about every page….

    I am going to try Dudes method now. (:

    Sorry for the double post, but how hard would it be to integrate the bbpress in the middle of newscast as a custom page.

    When it isn’t a trouble could You give me some pointers ?

    Thank You!

    That’s not an easy modification. I’m sorry this is beyond the scope of this support forum as the integration can take several hours. The bbpress developers are working on a plugin which will make it easier to integrate bbpress. Maybe have a look at simple:forum wp plugin – it’s a really good forum plugin with many features and great support.
