How can I customise the page that posts appear in?

I have various Post categories which I’d like to appear in custom designed templates for each one.
Is there a way to apply a page template to a single post page for that particular category?
    Thanks.

    Hey youtea!

For the category archives that may be a bit difficult. You can see how to create templates for each category here, http://codex.wordpress.org/Category_Templates. What you could do is create the template and then copy the code in our archive.php file and paste into it and then do whatever edits you need.

Or you could just create a new page and use our blog posts shortcode inside and then add the category links to your menu. This will create a similar effect and let you add whatever shortcodes you need to the page.

    Hi!

In this case you will want to use a sidebar. Navigate to Dashboard > Enfold > Sidebar Settings and in the “Sidebar on Archive Pages” option set it to left. Next navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and set some widgets to the “Sidebar Blog” widget area.

This will give you the layout your wanting.

    Best regards,

Sorry Elliot but it seems you haven’t understood what I’m asking.
If something is unclear then please let me know which part, but your answers aren’t helping.
    I appreciate your help, Thanks.
