    Hi,

    When I select to see post by selecting a Tag, the page shows with dead space on the top of the 1st post, below the site header/nav panel. Pls see pic http://s998.photobucket.com/albums/af107/fotografity/?action=view&current=screenshot_01.jpg. how do i get rid of the dead space?

    Thanks.

    Hey,

    open up style.css and add following code at the very bottom:

    .archive .tag #wrapper_heading{
    display:none !important;
    }

    This should remove the dead space…

    Doesn’t work, Dude. :-(

    Then try:

    .tag #wrapper_heading{
    display:none !important;
    }

    Please leave the code in style.css even if it doesn’t work – so I can investigate why it doesn’t work.

    That WORKED!!! Yippy. Thanks! Dude!

    Glad that I could help you :)

    Hi Dude,

    Instead of ridding of the dead space, could I display the selected “Tag”? Just like what is displayed for categories’ example “Archive for “Film” and so on?

    #39900

    You can try to replace following code in archive.php:

    <?php /* If this is an author archive */ } elseif (is_author()) { ?>
    <?php _e('Author Archive','cleancut'); ?>

    with:

    <?php /* If this is an author archive */ } elseif (is_author()) { ?>
    <?php _e('Author Archive','cleancut'); ?>

    <?php /* If this is a tag archive */ } elseif (is_tag()) { ?>
    <?php single_tag_title('Tag archive for '); ?>

    I’m not sure if it works or if this code has any side effects – maybe Kriesi had a reason why he excluded the tag archive from the headline…

    This works for Tags. Thanks.

    There are 2 types of categories, Post Categories and Portfolio Categories. Post categories shows fine, but how do I show Portfolio Categories on the headline when I select say CSS or HTML or PSD as per the default theme downloaded from themeforest?

    #39902

    As far as I can see the demo doesn’t show portfolio categories in the headline (i.e. here: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/cleancut/portfolio_entries/css/ ) – I’ll ask Kriesi if he wants to implement this feature in CleanCut…

    I hope he does, That would be swell, and I’m waiting. Thanks.
