Are you using WPML to translate your website? Tbh I'm not sure if German MarketPress supports woocommerce translations yet and I'm not sure if this is a theme related issue. Please try to to switch to the default TwentyEleven theme and check if the German Market Plugin works properly afterwards. If it doesn't please contact the plugin authors: http://marketpress.de/support/forum/plugins/woocommerce-german-market/ and ask them to look into the WPML compatibility issue.

Yes, we are using WPML to translate the website. We need to set default quantity listing option in product detailed page in both the German and English Language. This works fine in German but not in English.

Let me describe the problem again. I do not think this problem has something to do with German Market Extension plugin. Sorry, if you got confused.
Please test this link by yourself. http://www.daisydesignstudio.com. We have deactivated the maintenance mode and if you can test within an hour time, that would be good, we can again activate the maintenance mode.
See this link http://daisydesignstudio.com/shop/einladung-von-mandalay/ here, you see the product attributes and cost by default when you go here.
However, this is not happening in English version of the site check this link http://daisydesignstudio.com/en/shop/ellen-ryan/ here the attributes such as color, paper, cost etc not displaying. We need to choose manually but our client wants to display something by default.
Please help us on how to rectify this issue.

Do you use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/ to translate woocommerce? The theme itself doesn't change/affect the default values and thus I think this behavior (I'm not sure if it's a bug or not) is not theme related. Did you try TwentyEleven? Afaik WooCommerce allows you to select the "active" variation in the backend and based on your selection it will set the default values/attributes.
