    Hello,

I know the title may make it seem like this is something that has already been covered. However, I would like a definitive list of plugins by the Kriesi team that would fix my terrible Google Pagespeed Insights score and optimize my site without any of the errors I have been trying to fix by using a concoction of different plugins. Many people seem to get tailor answers depending on their situation, but I just want a surefire, guaranteed set of tools to use. I also using Cloudflare CDN and I activated the Cloudflare JS,CSS optimization features. You can view the site at http://www.europeanhorizons.org.

Of course, you can ignore server response time etc. As far as image optimization, kindly ignore as well; I am doing it manually at the moment. Just the stuff that is obviously related to the theme.

I hope this helps everyone else too, if they know they simply need to install plugin A + B + C and activate this and that and that will be the end of the optimization story.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi europeanhorizons!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Let’s check the suggestions summary one at a time:

1.) Optimize images – This is too important to be ignored. Good thing you’re working on it. Looks like you can reduce the image data up to 90% which is a great deal in website optimization.

2.) Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content – Unfortunately, loading the scripts before or ahead of the content is required to render the page properly. Deferring javascript loading will also break third party plugins. You can install the BWP Minify plugin or W3 Total Cache plugin to optimize delivery of css scripts.

3.) Minify HTML – This is something we can’t fix because we’re using WordPress. HTML delivery will depend on the number of plugins installed which influence the frontend, elements or objects placed on the current page (if built on advance layout builder) and various options in theme.

4.) Improve Server Response Time – I think what we’re doing above is congruent to what we’re trying to achieve here. This is a list of plugins that will help you improve page speed:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bwp-minify/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/

These suggestions can improve the performance to a limited extent, page speed will ultimately depend on the performance of your current hosting plan / hosting provider.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi to all,

I take this post to try to optimize my websites. Following your recommendations, I use WPSC and BWP minify.
I see that you also use W3TC.

About your experience, what combination is most effective?
    WPSC + BWP ?
    W3TC only ?
    W3TC + BWP ?

Would you have an optimal configurationscreenshot for these plugins ?

    Thank you by advance.

    Hey!

no, we don’t have a screenshot for you for these plugin. We don’t provide support for any 3rd party plugins as written in our support policy. However, in my experience W3TC+BWP is a good choice.

    Regards,
    Andy
