    Replace following code in single.php:

    <span class='day'><?php the_time('d') ?></span>
    <span class='month'><?php the_time('M') ?></span>
    <span class='year'><?php the_time('Y') ?></span>

    with:

    <?php if ($terms == "") : ?>
    <span class='day'><?php the_time('d') ?></span>
    <span class='month'><?php the_time('M') ?></span>
    <span class='year'><?php the_time('Y') ?></span>
    <?php endif; ?>

    Great it works ! But <?php if ($terms == “”) : ?> and <?php endif; ?> should be inserted before and after container_date div

    Thanks a lot !

    Sorry it’s me ;o)

    When I do that, the side bar slide under content for blog articles.

    When I use your method, date disappeared but it still remain the background image of date container. Any idea ?

    Thanks !

    Try to replace this code:

    <div class="date_container">

    <span class='day'><?php the_time('d') ?></span>
    <span class='month'><?php the_time('M') ?></span>
    <span class='year'><?php the_time('Y') ?></span>
    <?php if($k_option['single']['acc_tw'] != '') { ?>
    <div class="tweetmeme">
    <script type="text/javascript">
    tweetmeme_source = '<?php echo $k_option['single']['acc_tw']; ?>';
    tweetmeme_url = '<?php echo get_permalink() ?>';
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://tweetmeme.com/i/scripts/button.js"></script>
    </div>
    <?php } ?>
    <span class='date_container_bottom'></span>
    </div><!-- end date -->

    with:

    <?php if ($terms == "") : ?>
    <div class="date_container">

    <span class='day'><?php the_time('d') ?></span>
    <span class='month'><?php the_time('M') ?></span>
    <span class='year'><?php the_time('Y') ?></span>
    <?php if($k_option['single']['acc_tw'] != '') { ?>
    <div class="tweetmeme">
    <script type="text/javascript">
    tweetmeme_source = '<?php echo $k_option['single']['acc_tw']; ?>';
    tweetmeme_url = '<?php echo get_permalink() ?>';
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://tweetmeme.com/i/scripts/button.js"></script>
    </div>
    <?php } ?>
    <span class='date_container_bottom'></span>
    </div><!-- end date -->
    <?php endif; ?>

    Changed the single.php file in the way that you described, but I still see the date in the portfolio section of my site. I also still see “Comments are off” and a large space under that text before the footer.

    Not much of a website/code person, so I’m not sure why this isn’t working. Any ideas? Thank you!

    EDIT: Realized that because I made further edits that had me create a single-portfolio.php file, I had to make the edits there. All sorted out. THANK YOU!

    Glad that you found the problem :)
