We are presently a Kriesi customer with some other products. We are trying to demo this theme, however when we set the slider size in the demo it has no affect on the theme.
Is this just a known demo issue and is the slider adjustable in the theme?

Well that link is to people with problems with the slider.
The question was about a problem with the demo slider it's size does not adjust.
