    Hi,

    I have removed the “Description” Heading in the product page with this:

    #top div.product .woocommerce-tabs:first-child {

    display: none;

    }

    However, there is still a smaller ‘Description” still appearing in the tab of the Product Description (main content area of product). How can I remove this? Or at least replace this with another word/s like “keyword searches”

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hi,

    You can add this one:

    #tab-description h2.cufon_headings {
    display: none;
    }

    Ismael

    Thanks Ismael, will try it.

    Hi Ismael,

    No that doesn’t work – I already have removed the h2 heading with the code I had already inserted.

    Still need to remove the Description which appears in the tab…

    Cheers, M

    Hi Michael,

    Can you point out on your live site exactly the content you want to remove in that case. That way we know exactly what you are referring to and can see what css changes are already in place.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    http://goo.gl/0yKvfD – at the bottom you will notice the word “Description” which is what I want to remove. I’m sorry I don’t think I made myself clear previously…

    This word appears when you put some content in the main content area of the product page.

    M

    Add following code to the bottom of functions.php:

    add_filter( 'woocommerce_product_tabs', 'woo_remove_product_tabs', 98 );

    function woo_remove_product_tabs( $tabs ) {

    unset( $tabs['description'] ); // Remove the description tab

    return $tabs;

    }

    - this code will remove the description tab. If you want to remove all tabs use

    add_filter( 'woocommerce_product_tabs', 'woo_remove_product_tabs', 98 );

    function woo_remove_product_tabs( $tabs ) {

    unset( $tabs['description'] ); // Remove the description tab
    unset( $tabs['reviews'] ); // Remove the reviews tab
    unset( $tabs['additional_information'] ); // Remove the additional information tab

    return $tabs;

    }

    Hi Dude,

    I didn’t want to actually remove the tab itself, just the word ‘Description’ in the tab or at least change the word to something else..

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hi,

    Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS to change the font color of the word “Description”.

    #top div.product .woocommerce-tabs ul.tabs .description_tab a.no-scroll {
    color: white !important;
    }

    Change the color to the background of the box.

    This should work for the “Product Description” text.

    #tab-description h2 {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Remove browser cache then reload the page a few times to see the changes. Please give us a link to your website.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    Just tried the first section of code in the box and it seems to work fine – great!

    Just out of interest is there any way to make the content of the tab also white – so its also invisible but still present?

    Regards,

    Michael

    Here’s the URL:

    http://goo.gl/0yKvfD

    The word ‘Description’ no longer appears and I have written “Content in Tab” to denote the content in the tab…

    I’m not sure if this is what you mean but you can remove it from being visible with:

    #tab-description {
    visibility: hidden;
    }

    Hi guys – thanks – that works…
