    Hi there!

I purchased the Flashlight theme (which I am loving, by the way!) to sell clothing. My current problem is that I have multiple categories. I don’t want everything showing up on one page, as it is by default when you click “shop”.

I set up my menu you that when you hover over “Shop”, it brings out the dropdown menu with all of the categories. When you click each page, I would like only the relevant products to appear, to allow users to browse easier.

I created something of a workaround on my “Blouses & Tops” page ( http://shopcirca360.com/?page_id=40 ) using the Woocommerce shortcode: [product_category category="blouses-and-tops"]

This did display the one product in that category, but it is very small and, when you hover over it, the “show details” button is broken. What I want is for it to be set up just like the Shop page, just category-specific. I want the large thumbnails/titles.

Can you tell me how this can be done?

For what it is worth, here is the link to my site: http://www.ShopCirca360.com

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

I tested it on my end and it works fine. I created a new page called “Shop Category” then I inserted the woocommerce shortcode for displaying specific category and set the category to “1″ as example.

    [product_category category="1" per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="date" order="desc"]

I looked for “Choose a Page Layout”, selected “Default Layout(Content + small title). It looks exactly like the Shop Page. :)

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hi there Ismael,

Thank you for responding to my post! Unfortunately, though, I did not have the same luck as you.

I posted to shortcode you gave ( [product_category category="1" per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="date" order="desc"] ) in the body of the page and set the page layout to “Default Layout(Content + Small Title). The category does shop up on the page, but the thumbnails are still very small, and the “Show Details” popup when you hover over it is still broken.

    Any further ideas?

You can see the different between the two pages listed here:

    Regular “Shop” page: http://shopcirca360.com/?post_type=product

Blouses & Tops category page: http://shopcirca360.com/?page_id=40
