I want to realize different menu icons for every menu item on the sidebar of mehrblick.at/blog
I already found this helpful article of you

but it doesn't work for me because the li-classes don't have different numbers on our page. They are all called "li-item" without a number.
I know how to define classes in the style1.css with different icons.
But where can I assign the classes to each menu item? Can't find it because the sidebar menu is automatically created with your theme
