The same width, half the height as the home page - like the full width page view.

Edit: GabiHill waned to insert a banner on the category page. This modification is pretty easy - just download the modified version of archive.php here: http://www.mediafire.com/?p722cfl5zps6f6d and replace the original archive.php file.
To insert custom image banners for your categories open up the file and you'll see that I've insert a "<div class="banner">" at the top of the file. Replace the category ids with your ids (i.e. 9 with your id and 23 with your cat id). Afterwards modify the link url and the image url as you like - that's it.
If you want to add another cat banner just duplicate one code line and change the parameters as you like :)
Hi Dude - You almost have it right. The banner is displaying on the archive. Not on the POSTS.

In explorer there is a link border around the image which must go!
