If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
HI, is it possible to have a different size and alignement of the thumbnail in a list of posts. Currently the size is full width (570px) and the text goes below. Is it possible to have a thumbnail with size 160X160 aligned left and the text to be at the right.
Alternatively, I tried not uploading a thumbnail (Fullsize Image for Portfolio height: your choice, width: 570px) and just inserting an image (160×160) at the beginning of the post. At the blog page it looks fine and the image is shown in a list of posts but in a category view that image is not shown. I would like it to be there.
You can try opening the template_blog.php file and replacing the call for the portfolio image for the regular wordpress post thumbnail. Look for:
if($portfolio_image != "") echo '<img class="aligncenter" src="'.$portfolio_image.'" alt="" />';
<?php echo get_the_post_thumbnail($page->ID, 'thumbnail'); ?>
The thumbnail size would be determined by the size you set in wordpress Setttings>Media.
That is good so far. I only need to align the text to the right of thumbnail. Is that possible?
Please post a link to your website and we’ll provide some custom css code. Basically it should be possible to float the image to the left and the text to the right.
