    Hi,

    Don’t want to use the Cufon font system–how do I globally disable that in Brightbox? The instructions set forth in this thread (http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/disable-cufon-adding-new-cufon-fonts) don’t apply to the layout and files in Brightbox.

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

    Hey,

    open up includes/admin/register-styles.php and delete following code:

    array(
    'elements' => '.cufon_headings',
    'key' => 'cufon',
    'value' => avia_get_option('avia, font_heading')
    ),

    Is there away to allow people to highlight and copy any type of Cufon font on my website? i like having different font options but if people can’t copy and past any info they would like it is useless for me. Can someone assist me?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi!

    Afaik Cufon font headlines do not support text selections. You’d need to use font-face fonts instead.

    Best regards,

    Peter

    How will I be able to do that?

    You can use a font face kit from fontsquirrel: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface – afterwards add the style code to css/custom.css, upload the fonts into the css folder and apply the new (font-face) font family to any elements of your choice (eg h1,h2, etc. headlines).

    when you mention style code to css/custom.css are you referring to the following code

    (of course change the word cufon to the new font face i would like to use)

    array(

    ‘elements’ => ‘.cufon_headings’,

    ‘key’ => ‘cufon’,

    ‘value’ => avia_get_option(‘avia, font_heading’)

    ),

    also I have to disable cufon fonts before doing anything?

    Hi,

    I believe he meant to copy the output from fontsquirrel.com, and add the appropriate css code given by them to your custom.css file. The website will give you instructions. Just add the css class of the new font given to you by font squirrel to the html elements that you want to use the font on.

    Thanks,

    Nick
