    Hi, I must say after getting more a handle on this Replete theme… It is absolutely wonderful! Definitely recommended it to anyone viewing :)

    I wanted to know where can I disable the page titles on the blogroll page? I want the page titles displayed on the single post item itself, but on the blogroll page, the title is there as well, right before the excerpt. I want to disable the title above that excerpt and move the text up (getting the white space out where the title would normally be).

    I checked and checked but I don’t see an individual place where I can do this. Any code I can place for this to be done?

    Thanks! Best wishes!

    The title there I want to remove, but still want the title on the individual post itself to remain.

    Hi DrCLWorldWide,

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    #top.page-id-11305 .post-title {
    display: none;
    }

    This will only apply to the page you have selected as the Blog page right now as it targets that pages ID as the class. But it should do what you are looking for.

    Really appreciate the help Devin, however that didn’t work.

    Here’s what I tried….

    I tried the code you gave me through the wordpress admin @ Replete > Theme Options > Styling > Quick CSS

    I also tried the code you gave me through the custom.css @ replete/css/custom.css

    I also tried the !important property and that didn’t help.

    I also checked the “blog” page id to make sure it was the same one in the css code you gave me and it is.

    So I’m still not sure what to do.

    In the meanwhile I’m no guru, but I search out everything to learn on my own as well. Everything I found for “Page Specific CSS” hasn’t helped either. I found some other articles doing this through php, but newbie here at any php, lol.

    Any other solution?

    -Thanks again

    Can you link directly to the page you referenced in your screenshot?

    Regards,

    Devin

    Sure @ http://drcl.org/blog/

    This link is the blogroll page.

    The screenshot is particularly of the post at the very bottom of the blogroll page.

    I am using the same template in a different directory to build a different style of this site and adding the store items to it, which will eventually replace the root site.

    I tried the css code you gave me on both versions and neither did work.

    If you need some logins I can give them to you for the newer site I am working on.

    Appreciate your help, Devin!

    ~Thanks

    I didn’t see the css when inspecting the page, but try the following as well:

    #top.page-id-11305 h2.post-title {
    display: none;
    }

    If that doesn’t work, leave it in the Quick CSS or custom.css file so that I can see whats interfering it with it. I’d rather not use !important but you can also force it if you’d like with:

    #top.page-id-11305 h2.post-title {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Devin

    Thank you very much! Works Perfectly (no !important property).

    The only thing I had to change (for somebody else who may be searching).

    The ID “11305” for some reason is “12517” in my site’s newer version. So just a reference to anyone to check if you need this customization.

    ~Thanks Devin!

    Appreciate it!

    Ah, that makes sense. The ID is going to change depending on the database :)

    Glad we could help :)

    Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.

    Devin
