Hi, just purchased Replete.. probably the best theme on planet earth, wow.. wonderful theme/wonderful options!
How can I go about disabling the Page/Post title area generated on the front-end of the site?
For example, if I call a page “Biography” I don’t want the page title “Biography” to display in it’s default theme manner. I would like to enter the title on the page myself.
Thank you in advanced! And again, awesome theme, will have to buy more!December 17, 2012 at 3:51 pm #100910
As far as I know the only way to modify the page title is via the wordpress page title that you name it. It wouldn’t make sense to make a secondary name for the title unless the page had some kind of container for it.
The only other thing I can think of would be to make a dynamic template with the Template builder that is only the page content element and then you can use the visual editor to style a “title” which is really just text set at as h1. Then apply that template to all your pages.

Hey Devin, thanks for the reply.
Ok, I got this knocked out… I understand what you mean about the page title. Actually, we only have a few categories so there are images with the text of whatever specific post category. So I want those images to be the first thing seen and then the title of the post is created below that image in a special font. I just didn’t want the post title above the picture on each post since it will be below the picture for the post itself.
Thanks for your help!
By the way… is there a way to be notified via email about responses? Did I miss that part, because I was expecting an email and never got one and don’t see where to activate it available… So I just thought nobody responded till I decided to check today because I saw how fast response was to other requests.December 20, 2012 at 6:58 am #100912
No, atm our forum does not support email notifications. However I’ll ask Kriesi to look into it.
