    I’ve followed the previous instructions to remove the code from avia.js as I have a youtube social icon in the sidebar. It removes the video image hover but still tries to bring it up as an image and then comes up with an error message?

    Hi Ismael,

    It wasn’t my previous post, it was another members – but I searched for the topic and followed the instructions to remove the lightbox code from avia.js.

    Can I please have a reply to this? My website is due to launch tomorrow and this still isn’t resolved…

    Hi!

    In js/avia.js replace following line:

    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').avia_activate_lightbox();

    with:

    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').not('.sidebar').avia_activate_lightbox();

    Regards,

    Peter

    I’m not sure why it doesn’t work in your case but you can try to replace:

    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').avia_activate_lightbox();

    with:

    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('.content').avia_activate_lightbox();

    Thanks for replying! That didn’t work, but I figured it out:

    Remove:

    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)

    jQuery(‘.content’).avia_activate_lightbox();

    and insert:

    jQuery(‘a.social-icon’).addClass(‘noLightbox’);

    Thank you for your help! :)
