Disabled Parent Menu Link not working on Responsive version

Hi,
i was using the plugin Advanced Disable Parent Menu Link along with this theme to disable the parent link. It was working fine on the web version, however the parent link will become visible and enabled when on mobile. Have tried using # for the url but it does’t work as it will mess up the css of the submenu. Is there any solution for this?
