If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I currently have a slide on the home page that when clicked on I would like a page to show up in the light box that pops up and not the image. Is there a way to do this on the front end? If not, could I change the code so that when I either enter a link manually or choose to link to a page within the slider options, it opens within a light box?
Abundance doesn’t offer this feature at the moment but I’ll mark this thread for Kriesi – maybe he’s interested in your feature request. PrettyPhoto supports iframes and you can easily create iframe links within the post/page content. You just need to use a html code like:
<a href="http://www.apple.com?iframe=true&width=500&height=250" rel="prettyPhoto[iframes]">Apple.com</a>
You can change the link text, the url (before ?iframe….) and the width/height parameters.
