Display custom fields with avia_portfoliobox widget

Hello,

I would like to use the avia_portfoliobox widget to show some events (training dates) on my homepage. It now shows the date and time the portfolio item was created, but I would like to display custom fields with the date and location of the event instead. Is this possible? Which files do I have to change to customize this widget?

Hi Remco,

You can find the widget code in framewokr>php>class-framework-widgets.php . Search for:
AVIA PORTFOLIOBOX

I'm not really sure if what you are looking to achieve is possible but you can definitely give it a try. Custom fields is the route to go but pulling the data and displaying it will be the trick.

Otherwise, you might want to look into a plugin to handle that kind of display/functionality within a widget.
