    Hi, I’ve set up a simple drop-down menu which works fine. But if I delete the small sub-text line under the main menu heading (for example, ‘About our company’ whkch appears in small text under ‘About’ in the template) the menu behaves strangely.

    When I move the mouse over ‘About’ the drop down section appears. But when I move off ‘About’ and try to click on one of the sdrop-down menu items, the drop down menu itself disappears before I can click.

    Is there any way I can stop this from happening and gte the drop-down menu to stay on screen?

    Thanks.

    The CSS can be adjusted to cope without a description, open up style.css, find this code:

    #top .nav ul {
    display: none;
    left: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 48px;
    width: 172px;
    }

    and replace it with:

    #top .nav ul {
    display: none;
    left: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 30px; /* adjusted from 48px to cope with no menu description */
    width: 172px;
    }

    Fantastic, thanks Dude. I’ve actually set it up at

    top: 39px;

    as anything less and the vertical rules between the main menu items are visible inside the drop down menu boxes.

    :o)
