    Hi,

    i’d like to add 3 categories on the shop page using the woocommerce shortcode ( [product_categories number=""] like this :

    but the result is as you can see here :

    Hi David!

    The Shop page is automatically generated by WooCommerce. So anything you add to the visual editor is just going to get displayed above and before the generated “shop”.

    You can choose to display categories in your catalog view (shop) from WooCommerce>Settings>Catalog.

    Hi Devin,

    that’s what i ever do by selecting “show all sub-categories” (as you can see in the image below, show “all categories” does not exist…)

    but i still have all products on the shop page…

    The options from WooCommerce and how they are output are really out of our control. The option in english is “Show subcategories” which is the only option to show your top level product categories.

    Looking at your site now it appears you have a php error in your WooCommerce files. So re-installing the plugin is probably needed.

    Hi Devin,

    i asked woocommerce support and still waiting for their answer… I know that is out of your control but is the theme accept this option? Do you have already test it in your theme?

    (thanks to your note about the php error… i fixed the issue)
