    Hi, and thanks for the great theme. I’m trying to figure out how to add Titles and/or Captions to the images in my portfolio pages. I only want the titles/captions to show up in the PrettyPhoto lightbox (not on the portfolio thumbnail page). I know that PrettyPhoto supports titles and captions, but I don’t know where to enter this information within the Display theme UI / WP UI so they are passed to PrettyPhoto and displayed in the lightbox.

    Any help figuring this out would be much appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Any thoughts? I’ve added text to the “Title”, “Alternate Text”, “Caption” and “Description” fields but none of them appear in the lightbox. Hmm…

    For reference, the site is here:

    I have already tried modifying custom.js to read:

    jQuery($elements).prettyPhoto({
    "theme": 'light_square', /* light_rounded / dark_rounded / light_square / dark_square */
    show_title: true
    });

    I also tried modifying style.css just to make sure it’s not displaying white text on a white background:

    .pp_description{
    color: #333;
    }

    So far I’ve only added Title/caption/description text to the “Public Market” photo in the photography section, so if you go there to look at it, test with that one.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

    I think the problem is that Display doesn’t add the link title, etc. information to the image link. You can change the default title content in displayframeworkhelper_functionskriesi_build_image.php .search for following line:

    'title'=>'',

    and add any static text like:

    'title'=>'My headline',

    You can also try to use functions like http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_the_title – I’m not entirely sure if it works out of the box or if you need to add an additional post id parameter.

    Thank you for the insight. The following worked to set the title of the image to the title of the post:

    'title'=> get_the_title(),

    Great :) – Status set to resolved.
