I have a blog from 4 years with over 1000 articles and almost 2000 images. I wanted to change the graphics and I chose this theme that I found suitable for my needs. The problem I have is as follows:

The original site provides that the images have a size of 550×220 pixels and the same image is also used as a thumbnail keeping the aspect ratio.

Applying the new theme these images are not distorted cut or resized. It is possible to cut the images or place without being adapted or without distortion?

    Hi moscom,

These are images set as featured images for the posts? It will take a long time, but you can use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ to regenerate all of your previous images thumbnail sizes to use the new theme thumbnail sizes.

Thanks Devin for your feedback. I tried but the result is not acceptable and all images are distorted (filling adapted to the box image is not in proportion).

The posts are featured but the images are inserted in the articles and not as images in evidence since the old theme did not provide this function

If you want, privately, I can send you the links of two sites, the old and the new so you can evaluate the differences

    best regards
