I am trying to help a client using your Flagship theme and am finding it a challenge to locate things in the Admin to be able to figure out what the problems really are.
For starters, is there any sort of documentation or tutorials to help with using the theme? I have previously stumbled across controls for the slideshow but am now at a loss to locate them.
Is there anything about the slideshow that would cause it to malfunction in a local installation cut off from the internet?
Somehow a ‘home’ directory is being generated in some of the file url’s, but ‘home’ is missing from the file structure. Can you shed any light on this?July 10, 2014 at 1:17 am #289265
In the full download from ThemeForest there is a documentation folder that has an overview of the theme files, basic how-tos and things like that.
The home directory generation is probably not a theme issue as there isn’t any directory generation within the theme functions.
For a local installation it really could be anything. Local servers need to be configured just like a live server and with all the needed php extensions in place. The theme doesn’t need anything abnormal but local servers can be a wild card for issues.

Ok, I found the documentation and tracked down the slider controls within the page.
This is where it gets weird. On the public site, three images are loaded in the slider, but only two images appear and it stops on the second one. The autorotation is set for active, and something must be interfering with the script so that it never gets to the third image and thus never gets a chance to continue cycling.
When I reloaded the images in the slider on the local version I ended up with exactly the same malfunction. This was on my list of issues to solve. How can I fix this?
I have a suggestion for a future improvement to the slider interface. Since the thumbnail is so tiny I was forced to use a magnifying glass to figure out what the missing slide should look like. If the image path were visible and included the name of the file it would be MUCH more user friendly.

Thank you for the info.
This is due to incompatibility issue with the latest version of WordPress. You need to update the theme. Please download the latest version from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP.
