If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I bought Eunoia a few weeks ago and I’m now considering Flagship for another client. What I want to know before I buy (ok, I’ll probably buy anyway, but I want to know now since I’m designing some PSDs for the client to approve before buying) is if the theme supports 2 different menus and if so, where would the 2nd menu be located (footer?).
By default, you can add a second menu to the footer widget area or the sidebar. If you wanted to add a menu say to the right of the copyright you would have to modify the footer template.
Hope this helps!
Thanks. I guess I’ll have to find someone to modify the template. In fact, I’d like to create a submenu over the main menu… Anyone can help me? I’m willing to pay. Please email me if you are interested: hello(a)valeriebdesign.com. Thanks!
Yep you can create two different menus. All you need to do is open header.php and find this code
echo "<div class='main_menu' data-selectname='".__('Select a page','avia_framework')."'>";
$args = array('theme_location'=>'avia', 'fallback_cb' => 'avia_fallback_menu', 'max_columns'=>4);
Below that paste this one.
echo "<div class='new_menu' data-selectname='".__('Select a page','avia_framework')."'>";
wp_nav_menu( array('menu' => 'Sub Menu' ));
Create a new menu on Apperance > Menus and name it Sub Menu. To style it and position it on top of the main menu, just use custom.css and target .new_menu.
