I’ve modified your theme and I got in trouble with the drop down menu.
I need the drop down menu to have a top margin of 10-15 px. It works fine the first time it shows, but when it dissapears and shows again, it has an inline style with margin:0, margin-top:0. I can’t find the js doing that.
here’s a link of what I’m talking about: http://guru.webgurus.ro/kamikaze/
Can you help?July 21, 2010 at 9:41 am #30004
Seems you already found the solution? Also you can always overrule inline style by appending a !important; to your css stylesheet rule ;)July 21, 2010 at 3:04 pm #30005
The problem isn’t resolved. Please try to hover more then once over more than one menu item.July 22, 2010 at 8:11 am #30006
I did. it looks and works perfectly finr for me. which browser are you suing? also did you try to use the !important overrule in your css file?July 22, 2010 at 8:32 am #30007
I’ve tried with !important, but it keeps rewriting with inline code with !important added.
Anyways, another problem I wanted to ask you about is how do you change the thumb size on the pages. I want to change the thumb to 100 fixed width and max-height 200px, but only if it’s more than 200px allow the script to crop the image. I have several sizes for the post images and they really have to be proportional to see the meaning of the image.
Hope you understood what I’ve said.
Here’s a link of 2 images to see what I mean. http://guru.webgurus.ro/kamikaze/2010/07/secretari-de-stat-vs-secretari-de-stat/
The guy with the cigar has to be full height to understand the image. not cropped.
Thanks.July 24, 2010 at 11:18 am #30008
The menu seems to work fine for me. If you’re still having problems can you post a screenshot highlighting the issue?
You can adjust the size of the thumbnails site wide by adjusting the value in functions.php.
If it’s just for images in a post, you can modify single.php, changing “M” to the size you’d like:
$preview_image = kriesi_post_thumb($post->ID, array('size'=> array('M'),
'display_link' => array('lightbox'), // '_prev_image_link' or array('lightbox')
'linkurl' => array ('fullscreen','_preview_big'),
'wh' => $k_option['custom']['imgSize']['M']
If none of the built in sizes suit you, you can duplicate then edit a size in functions.php to create your own.
