    Hi there

    Thanks for creating such a great theme.

    I just am having problems with the Corona theme in Internet Explorer. The drop down menu seems to disappear too quickly and this means one cannot click on the pages in time.

    I’ve tried searching on your forum but the solutions that worked for others don’t seem to be working for me. Can you please advise me on how to fix this in the CSS?

    The website address is http://www.ashatrust.com

    Thanks so much and have a great day

    Nic

    Hi,

    please try following – open up wp-content/themes/corona/js/avia.js and replace:

    //activates the mega menu javascript
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_menu_helper)
    jQuery(".main_menu .menu").avia_menu_helper({modify_position:true, delay:300});

    with:

    //activates the mega menu javascript
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_menu_helper)
    {
    if(jQuery("body").hasClass('MSIE')) {
    jQuery(".main_menu .menu").avia_menu_helper({modify_position:true, delay:800});
    }
    else
    {
    jQuery(".main_menu .menu").avia_menu_helper({modify_position:true});
    }
    }

    Hi there

    Thanks for your reply and suggestion.

    I’ve just changed the code but the dropdown menus are still disappearing. They sometimes stay in place but the majority of the time they don’t.

    Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thanks again for your help, it’s much appreciated.

    Hi nbmediasouthafrica,

    Make sure to refresh your browser 3-4 times so that you aren’t viewing any cached version of it. I don’t have any issue with the dropdowns in IE at this point when viewing your site in IE7,8 or 9.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hi there

    I fixed the unreliable hover in IE by changing this:

    currentLink.bind(‘mouseenter’, function()

    {

    sublist.stop().css({visibility:’visible’}).animate({opacity:1});

    });

    To this:

    currentItem.bind(‘mouseenter’, function()

    {

    if ($(‘body’).hasClass(‘MSIE’)) {

    sublist.stop().css({visibility:’visible’, opacity: 1});

    } else {

    sublist.stop().css({visibility:’visible’}).animate({opacity:1});

    }

    });

    Thanks
