    Hey,

If you are experiencing this issue, try these steps.

1.) Have you set up your Custom Menu with a drop down (under WP admin > Appearance > Menus)?

2.) Disable all your plugins. The drop down uses JS to work and conflicts can stop default functionality. If the drop down starts working, re-activate your plugins one-by-one until you find the culprit. Try to find a similar plugin if you need the functionality it offered.

3.) Post your site URL if the menus still aren’t working correctly. I’ll take a look.

If you want access to the back end, just give me an email and I can shoot it to you! Thanks!

    Hi all…

I was having troubles displaying sub-menus on top navigation too, even though I had set child pages and parent pages, etc.

I used this WP information to solve the problem from the Administrator > Appearance > Menus

“You can also drag a menu item a little to the right to make it a submenu, to create menus with hierarchy. You’ll see when the position of the drop target shifts over to portray the nested placement. When you have finished building your custom menu, make sure you click the Save Menu button.”

I found the information here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_SubPanel

    Under “Add Menu Items”

Thought it may help some other newbies like me, out there. :)

Thanks for posting this. Many people already asked us how to create submenus in WP3.
