i just installed this theme and was getting ready to push it live, when i noticed a speck on the far right of the screen – past the right nav. on closer inspection i found a smiley face, a small one, but a smiley face nonetheless. Look here for a screen grab http://www.flickr.com/photos/fjurden/5042177084/

i tested in chrome and safari on mac, and chrome and IE9 on PC. it showed up even after several reloadings, then it disappeared from all browsers.

    anyone else have this experience?

    Hey!

Seems strange, but I am not seeing it on a fresh install in Safari 5 on OS X

    Best regards,

This smiley is used by the WordPress stats plug-in to count the amount of users. The user loads the gif with the page and the plugin can count the clicks, page requests, etc. If you want to get rid of it, you ca, 1) deactivate the plugin or 2) find the location of the logo and edit it with photoshop.
