   Can you recommend a good eCommerce solution/plugin that works well with the Velvet theme. Is there anything else I would need to enable me to sell products via your theme - security etc

   You can try Simple Paypal Shopping Cart (free) or Cart 66 Lite because they integrate seamlessly into most themes. WooCommerce is a very powerful shop plugin but it doesn't integrate well in "standard" themes which do not support WooCommerce out of the box. You can also try Tribulant Shopping Cart Plugin (not free). I wouldn't use Shopp.
