Hi,

I downloaded newscast recently and so far I love the way it looks. There is one problem that I've noticed and I've just been working around it for now but I can't do it any more. For some reason, its as if the visual editor in wordpress has been disabled. In order to use plug-ins like zemanta, the visual editor needs to work. I tried searching in the forums for a similar problem to mine but I haven't found any yet. Is this a problem just isolated to me? And is there any fix for this? Thanks.

Hi imsllc,

Sounds like there is a conflict with the wordpress core files. First try disabling all active plugins and see if the issue gets resolved. If so, you can re-enable them one by one to find the plugin causing the issue.

If not, make sure Wordpress is updated. If it is (3.5.1), you may need to re-install wordpress or you can attempt to replace the wordpress files via FTP.

Thank you! I didn't notice that my wordpress wasn't updated and updating that completely fixed the problem.
