Hope you can help, I am VERY new to wordpress and website building in general and have a small business so am having to do all the web work myself. I am making good progress with the abundance theme, however one thing is stopping me and that is how I change the content of the sidebar… At present it has ‘pages’ as the top field, and a resulting massive list of all the pages! I dont want pages listed, how do I remove this? and how do I add other fields into the sidebar?

I am getting desperate now, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi skinreveal,

In your WordPress Dashboard go to: Appearance > Widgets. On the right side, you can see the Display Everywhere(right) and also the left. By default, if there are no items on those, there are default widgets that would appear. So to control it, you can drag some widgets to it, so that the default widgets won’t show up, like the Pages widget. Hope this is helpful. :)

Brilliant! thanks so much Ismael :)

    Glad Ismael could help :)
