Would really like to see a widget or shortcode for this feature. Perhaps a small popup dialog for the sender to add their name, email, recipient's name & email brief subject & comment, and send the link to the current page to the recipient, and doesn't force the sender to use their email client, it's all done from the site - similar to what's present on many larger sites.
I've checked out a number of plugins for this & didn't find one I liked. Ideally, the look & feel would match seamlessly with the theme and with the available plugins, they don't.
Create a new thread and tell me what problems you are encountering and what you want to know. 
There is no step 3 :)
